I 1729 The Danske Ostindiske Company vent bankrupt and it was the end for DOC on the coins. The Danish king took over the settlement.

 

 

Silvercoins:

 

The minting of silvercoins started in 1730. One  royalin or fano with the year 1730 and a 2 royalin/fano with the year 1731 were minted. The Naik af Tanjore had not given his permission to mint silvercoins, and he was not willing to do so. So the minting had to stop.

Before the minting stopped 2.000 pradous of 10 fanos had been minted to fanos.

Kong Frederik the 4. died in 1730. The connection to Denmark was so bad, that first in 1731 after the minting of 2 royalins was started, the news abouth the death of the king reached Tranquebar.
